Abstract

This paper aims to explain the principles of interdependence and congruent unity in polydimensional legal research (PLR). The latter is described through its most prominent characteristics in order to demonstrate that the knowledge of such principles will improve, both epistemologically and methodologically, legal research that is interconnected with other fields of knowledge. This research is based on legal analytics, along with the afore mentioned principles of interdependence and congruent unity in legal research (by means of its connection with Philosophy of science, Philosophy of social science and Philosophy of law), as well as on the syncretic method and on a documentary technique. The outcome is the construction of analytical tools that can underlie, be used on, and operate in legal research, which demonstrates their practical usefulness. The originality of this paper lies in the association of already existing ideas, which pertain to different fields of knowledge, to create tools for a theoretical framework applicable to the new paradigm of PLR. The objective and research of this paper explain the abundance of bibliographic references, since many ideas were taken from a wide range of sources.
