2do. Congreso Internacional de Artesanía Voces, Saberes y Haceres. “Sostenibilidad, resistencia y educación para la paz”

Abstract

The 2do. Congreso Internacional de Artesanía Voces, Saberes y Haceres took place at the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Aragón of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México May 23–26, 2023, through its Division de Estudios de Posgrado e Investigación. This year, its moto was “Sustainability, Resistance and Education for Peace.” A vast variety of people attended, including teachers and master craftsmen, cultural experts, academics, students, civil organizations, networks, collectives, artisan workshops, and people interested in analyzing and exchanging experiences in regards to the current situation of artisan production, and its legal reality at the local, regional, national, and international levels. It was also an opportunity to display the richness of the participating territories, their culture, and of course their crafts.
